Art Camp is a homesome virtual art residency and a bi-monthly gathering, an alternative to our many missing social art events.

World Jellyfish is one of the personal spaces in Art Camp. In this space, colonialism, environmentalism, and other topics we discuss on a global scale are disrupted and reorganized, offering a unique perspective to audiences who want to think outside the box about these often clichéd, and therefore perhaps inevitably capitalistic, topics.

This space started with my childhood memory of the giant world turtle, which I used to construct the world in my mind's eye. We have always been in this anthropocentric world forever, and all the explanations of all the subjects revolve around human beings, who have always been the subject of this world's existence. Human, biological, geological, atmospheric, all classes seem to have solidified. As we gradually realize that man is not the measure of everything, we should try to step out of this theory and try to exist man as an object, as a part of the world, into a new de-anthropocentric world. Just as the world turtle symbolizes the worldview of the Anthropocene, the World Jellyfish represents the starting point of the imagination of such a new world.

Q: If there is one seed that you'd like to plant - preserve in one of your vessels, what would that be? (abstract seeds of..love, empathy whatnot)
